The plumbing and HVAC system were installed last week and this week electric should be done. Our pre drywall meeting is set for this Friday. We went to see the house this past weekend, but not too much is different. We did run into an issue with the basement bathroom rough in. We were under the impression that the rough in would have a wall and door just like a finished bathroom. But they actually don't make a door, just a straight wall. And they leave the rough in exposed to the storage space next to it. We're pretty annoyed because if we ever wanted to finish it, then we'd have to cut the wall to make a door frame and also build a wall to separate the bathroom from the storage area. I don't understand why they don't just do that now?... I also met the neighbors that are directly in the middle of the cul-de-sac. They seem very nice. And we got word that the rest of the lots on the cul-de-sac sold, so there's going to be a LOT more construction happening soon.

Not too fond of how close the neighbors are, but nothing we can do. At least they're nice! :)
The framing straight ahead is where we thought the door to the rough in was going to be. Notice there's no wall in between the rough in and the storage room?
