We just got back from visiting the house and I'm getting more and more excited! The siding is all done, the stone is 95% done, the cabinets are installed, the stair rails are in, and the vinyl flooring is done. The doors were actually locked this time, so we couldn't get inside. They said they took the tree out and left a stump, but they must've been thinking we were talking about another tree because the one I was talking about is still there. Well bring this up to the PM. Next week the plumbers and electricians will come back to turn that stuff on and they're hoping to pour the driveway as well. The PM also said the countertops should be installed in about 2 weeks. I feel like it wouldn't take another month to complete, but I know they have a ton of smaller details to work on.

Slowly but surely
Our PM wasn't lying when he said now is the time where things seem to slow down. Granted, they got several things done this past week, but they're not as "noticeable" as when the framing was going up. I'm just happy they're making weekly progress and we haven't had any times where they didn't do anything at all.
My sister and I went to the house on Saturday. They put up siding on one side of the house and most of the back. The mudding on the drywall was finished, which I think is what took up the workers' time. I believe they'll get flooring in this week or next week. I already can't wait to get an update on Friday! When we got to the house, the garage door was wide open and there were lots of boxes in the garage. There were cabinets, kitchen sinks, siding, etc. I checked all the colors to make sure everything was correct and it was. I have to give kudos again to our PM for making this process so smooth! A little more grading was done on the backyard to flatten it out more. One concern I have is about a tree in the back. It looks dead and is leaning towards our house. If it falls, it'll likely fall on the morning room, so we're going to request for them to take it out. Other than that, I think that's all they got done. Oh, there was also a propane tank in the front yard and a line running from it to the basement. We didn't go down there, but we felt very hot air coming up the stairs. We weren't sure what that was for. Maybe drying out the moisture?

Drywall is almost done
The doors ended up not being locked since there's nothing really for thieves to steal, so we got to go in. These workers must be working extra hard because all of our drywall is up! I believe all they have to do now is the "mudding" part of it. I'm guessing all of next week is going to be finishing the drywall. I have to say that I was disappointed that they didn't put any siding up yet. From reading other blogs, I've noticed other homes had drywall and siding go up around the same time.
They also leveled out our backyard a little more and took out a few more trees. They filled in the little "pond" area in the very back and it makes the yard look decently bigger. I'm satisfied with that, which is a big deal because the backyard was what I was worrying a lot about. There's still a slight slope, so we may end up grading that out more once we're in the house.
As for the basement rough-in: I am even more annoyed with them putting a wall instead of a door now. My reason being because they put electrical stuff on that wall where the door is supposed to be, so if we ever want to finish it, we'll have watch out for that stuff and re-wire. I still think it would've been much better if they would've just made a door, but too late now. :(
Otherwise, the rest of the house looks fantastic! I'm uploading a lot of pics today. (They uploaded backwards, so they're pretty much going from upstairs to downstairs).
Black tarp is gone and so are some dead trees!
Master Bedroom
My tub is in!
I was shocked at how small the "toilet room" was. I could've sworn it was bigger in the model home.
We HIGHLY suggest getting the tray ceiling! It opens up the room SO much!!
One of the bedrooms
Upstairs hall bathroom
Another bedroom. If you peek out of the window, you can see how fast the neighbors' homes are flying up.
Where's the heart eyes emoji on my computer?!
They put the morning room doors in and the outside railing up
Office
Looking at where the fridge/pantry is going to go. I'm worried our fridge may be too big for that little space.

Tiny closet because we got the bonus room.

The electrical work where the door should be
Main part of basement. It was pitch black, so we only had our phone lights.
Does the middle beam on the porch look crooked? My husband said it won't matter once they put the stuff up around it.
The porch has been cemented!
They finished another road in the neighborhood, and this is the view of our house from it until the rest of the houses on the cul-de-sac go up.
